Getting Connected

How do I sign up for RIMEnet?

Simply scan the provided QR Code or follow sign-up prompts through our website. After entering your information, RIME Networks will turn on your internet service within minutes.

I signed up for RIMEnet but I can't connect to the network.

Make sure your WiFi is turned on your device.
Try turning your WiFi capability on and off.
Make sure you are connecting to the right SSID.
Make sure you have the correct login credentials.
If problem persists, Contact support.

Can I change the name of the WiFi network(SSID) in my apartment?

Yes, personalize your WiFi network's name at anytime through the RIMEnet self-service port located at www.rimenet.net.

How can I login if I forget my account password?

Navigate to the customer portal login screen and follow the prompts to password reset.

Can i connect multiple devices at once?

Yes, RIMEnet allows you to connect your phone, laptop, smart tv, or any other device simultaneously.

Where can I get RIME?

Our service is currently available at Station 75 Apartments. It will be available soon at other locations.

How many plans does RIMEnet offer?

RIME Networks offer two plans to maintain simplicity and quality; Essentials and Premium.

How much bandwidth does my plan have?

The Essentials Plan has up to 300 Mbps and the Premium Plan has up to 1 Gbps.

How do I know which plan to choose?

You can view our plans page which details the different speeds and amount of devices recommended for each plan.

Can I upgrade my plan?

You can upgrade your plan at any time through your customer portal.

Does RIMEnet offer TV and internet bundled services?

No. RIME Networks focuses on its core competency; High-quality internet at a great flat rate.

Billing

How does RIMEnet handle billing?

RIMEnet bills you automatically every month; with no cancellation fees, no hidden fees, and no equipment rental fees.

How much does RIMEnet cost?

Our Essentials plan is $49 a month and our Premium plan is $75 a month.

How do I know how much my bill will be each month?

With RIMEnet, the price you see is the price you pay. Every month your bill will be the same.

Where can I view my bill?

You can view your bill at anytime through your customer portal.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, RIMEnet accepts all major credit cards.

Can I use autopay?

RIMEnet exclusively uses autopay to free you of the hassle of remembering to pay your bill; however, you can still cancel at any time free of charge.

Can I pay with a check?

No, RIMEnet only accepts online payments.

Will equipment rental fees be added onto my bill?

No, RIMEnet includes all equipment rental fees in our flat rates.

What happens if I don't pay my bill on time?

If for some reason your credit card info has changed or doesn't go through, we will notify you immediately. You will have a ten day grace period to remedy any credit card errors.

Technical

How do I set up my router?

RIMEnet does not require any user installation or set-up. Simply connect to your network and browse freely on your devices.

Can I provide my own router/ equipment?

Yes; but it is not required. RIMEnet has existing equipment and ethernet connections to provide you with high-speed internet without the hassle of hardware installation. However, if you would like to provide your own router you can contact customer support at time of sign-up for assistance.

How many wired connections can I use in my apartment?

One Ethernet connection is available if you are using your own WiFi router. This is the Ethernet connection in the living room of your apartment. All other Ethernet connections are disabled.

If you choose to use the RIMEnet WiFi service directly, then up to 3 Ethernet connections are available within your apartment for directly connected Ethernet devices (such as your TV, Playstation, Computer.)

Does RIME Networks have data caps?

No. RIME Networks does reserve the right to slow your speeds if we find you are violating our terms of service.

I have a question about my internet service. How do I get help?

Existing customers can fill out a support request or dial the in-house support phone number provided in the customer portal. Potential customers can fill out a support request through the contact us tab on our website.

Where is your support team located?

Our support team is made of up of in-house technicians in Atlanta, Georgia.
